The islands i own in the central south atlantic, that are those?
As i cannot find them on any real world map i take it that they are added to the game, but i would like som information about them if there are any.

Ahoj!
Good question about islands. I have a question too:
- any non-historical Iberian Islands in surprising places?
- are Fernando Po and Sao Tome Iberian?
- is Rio Muni Iberian? This was also known as Spanish Guinea or Equatoral Guinea.
- East Timor?

The entire island of Timor is mine, it all belong to the Dutch! :)
At least i read the map that way, we really should get a more detailed map of that region.

All your Timors are belong to Dutch!
:D
I suspect that it IS Dutch, as when Navalism was set up, there was a Dutch player but no Portuguese player ...

Is this a good final map for January 1906?

I think France swallowed them whole.

It looks like Iberia has a large island with a few extra in the South Atlantic, probably for coaling, might have been part of the route to get to South America at one point, or an alternate from before their was a Suez Canal for the route to the Philippines.

There also seems to be another small set of islands in the mid-Indian Ocean, probably again for coaling so ships can reach the Philippines.

Borys

Ahoj!
Thanks for the explanation about the Iberic Islands.

The ordinary map is so distorted in this area that i cannot tell exactly were the border between me and New Swiss is going.
So, Green, Yellow or red?

After enlarging the map under Paint, I think it is green.

I could go with red but having East Timor.

Hehe, and i would prefer yellow as that leaves least points of friction.
There is a lot of tiny islands between Taliabu and celebes, and it easier to dra the line in the water between larger islands.
And i would like to keep all of timor, agains to minimise points of friction and give me a nice and tidy border.
