If you have any tonnage to spare, I would add a couple of DC throwers.

Right now, your DCs roll off the rack directly astern.
Adding throwers allows you a broader pattern.

I do not recollect your dock lengths, but Snip made it Overall length that matters,
so at 121.42 that might be an issue.

Impressive 40mm battery, twice what is on my 1932 Sherclass.
Looking at my ship, tonnage wise I should be able to fit that in.

Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

Interesting to compare your C16 and my Davazdah Rohk
You're 12x191 & 12x 114, I'm 12x190 & 12x 115.
You went for slightly more speed, I went for more armor.
You also went with 6 seaplanes while I did 2.
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

To replace the old cruisers in the Red Sea, I thought of building some monitors...
These ships must also support torpedo boat attacks (Flotilla Leader).
A speed of 30kts was therefore required.
I arrive at a small cruiser like Arethusa...
