The 365mm armed Mallet seems the best option.   But it's surprising there isn't a 6 gunned 305mm version with the same hull.

But yes, If the Partians wish to lay down such a vessel in 1913 and one in 1914, a suitable trade can be arranged.

The Parthians will explain that the goal with the 305/41 version was to use Incan weapons, for which they were only told of single and twin options.
The triple turret is one the Parthians developed two separate designs of, and then tested, before choosing the better for their Tiamat class.
Developing a similar turret for the Incan gun would take 18 months.

The Parthians have adequate dock space and are willing to negotiate good terms.
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

Kaiser Kirk

The Incan list included river gunboats.

The Parthians have been examining gunboats for both Riverine forces in various territorial rivers, and small cruisers which could berth on a river or shallow area, and sortie into the nearby seas.
The two take very different requirements, and the Parthians are unsure which extreme you are interested in.

We have our old Dragonfly gunboats, which are small river armored casement gunboats.
We have examined updating the old design, which we will share.
The armament is Parthian, fitting Incan weapons it would appear would need widen the hull by a meter, increasing the displacement to 280-300t.

For our purposes, we expect our gunboats to be far from base, so we provide non-oil fired boilers as well.

The original Dragonfly class are Parthian vessels for riverine and lake use.

They are essentially center casement armor clads with heavier deck guns at both ends.
The raised center casement serves as an amored deckhouse and 2nd deck, considerably boosting habitable volume.

The forward 90mm is a conventional naval rifle.
The 118L20 is a howitzer.
The twin 15mm guns are Gardner handcranked machine guns on the roof.
10mm gunshields are provided.
The four 45mm QF are mounted at the corners of the casement.  This can fire fore/aft, or engage targets on the beam. While lacking the punch of the main guns, they allow suppressive fire totally under armor, with a small HE charge in the shell.

The raised amidships superstructure is covered by 15mm armor and slanted back at 25 degrees (for a Cos25 O/H = 2.8m), this is  expected to defeat all small arms.

The main belt covers from +1.4 to -0.5m with 20mm armor, protecting the engines and magazines.  The ends are more lightly protected.

An armored pilot house also is the site of the rangefinder.

Fuel is a mix of Coal/wood w/ oil spray burning, and Oil burning
This allows the vessel to steam on local sources.

Range is for 14 days.

Miscellaneous weights :
3t - Extra ventilation
2t - Turbo-electric drive
1t - rangefinder and plotting tables.
1t - construction reserve.

Decks :
+3.9 Casement
+1.4  1st Deck
-1.15   Engineering deck.

Designed to be a riverine and littoral gunboat.
A pair of 165mm guns form the main battery.
Superimposed over that are a pair of 118mm howitzers
To allow ammunition supply while under sniper fire, hoists are fitted.

To fend off reconnaisance zeppelins two AA guns are fitted.
To deal with close in boarders, 4 'Gardner' handcranked MGs are fitted.
The guns are fitted with defenses ranging from proof against HE, to proof against rifles.

To allow the props to be closely regulated in speed, and have full reverse power, electric motors are fitted.

An 8mm interior bulkhead 1m from the hull is fitted and a a double bottom is fitted.
These are to limit flooding in event of grounding or collision in narrow river channels.

Engines are kept to the older reciprocating technology.
While not as reliable as turbines, they are more easily repaired in remote locations.

Likewise, as wartime may limit oil access, coal or wood are alternate fuel supplies.

Pity the Byzantine entry goes over the cap of 10Ktons.  (Yes i know, it's not in the specs from the idea, but it's a pet peeve of Sapa Inca), But it is an interesting ship.

The Japanese rotating cannon, can we arrange for an order of a 100?
One thing tough, 280 shells ain't that impressive for an autocannon. The older 3 pounder fired 68 shells a minute. That's 4 minutes fire.    In bursts of 20 seconds, the ship would be dry after 1 action of 12 minutes.

The Parthian river boats will need some thoughts.

3000 tons is about the maximum size that could operate on the upper Amazon from Iquitos. On the other hand, that would be a very very powerfull ship in her "home territory".
It's about the size I had in mind for the Loreseeker class cruisers.

But the 250 tons boats have a big advantage.  They are cheap.

I would replace the 90mm with a 100mm, or even more radical, replace evey gun, except the houwitser, with the Japanese 57mm rotators.   I think 6 of'm will make any rivership or attacking ground force think twice.
Especialy if the shells are incendiary....

Order coming right up, do the Inca want the the 3 barrel one available now, or do they want to wait for the improved 5 barrel version?

The design can easily be modified for more shells if the Inca are interested in that particular TB.

As for the Thonburi-type coast defense cruiser, would the Inca perhaps be interested in a cheaper more coast defense focused version? Or perhaps a bigger more cruiser focused version?

Wavering between OOC and IC.

Sapa Inca specified the Shogunates 57mm.

The "infomertial" Sapa Inca did see is about a smaller sized gun, the 37mm, and is very impressed by the idea.

Explaining why the delivered 5 barreled 57mm's don't work as advertised.
Fun for me.  Yma will be displeased...

Desertfox already dodged that bullet by stating that the "big" 5 barreled version is experimental and that the 3 barelled version is ready for deployment.

Of course, Sapa Inca nor the Lorekeepers know for sure this is true, and it could just be a big embezzlement sceme.
