The Custodi type Sloop had hit its deveolopmental limit, and its limited speed was becoming an undesirable trait. The Vigil type Sloop was a great improvement. Again in three sub-classes, later versions of the type greatly improved speed. The Vigils also feature some limited armor to protect the vitals of the ship.

The Imperial Navy possess a small number of Tenders. Initaliy designed to support light ships, with the growing push to oversease possessions the ships are going to be hard pressed to keep up with the needs of the fleet. The first of these are the Silice class. A modified merchent design, the Silices carry many nessisary items for the fleet. Existing in two sub-classes, the first is older with SRE while the newer has VTEs and additional cargo capacity.
