Only if I can have the mountains. :D

I liked the idea of UK and USA slugging it out.   :(

Calm down. I'll take it all, as compensation for Cuba and Phillipines ))

As to the question of why, its a two part answer. First, Darman and I wanted to show that the relationship between the US and UK will not be anywhere close to the same as OTL.

Original timeline, ~1900 the RN was the main foe the USN was planning for. Their alliance with Japan in the Pacific was viewed with alarm due to the threat to the Philippines, so I certainly can appreciate that being reinforced.
As for the analog, that's a lovely idea. Original timeline we had naval warfare in the 1894-95 Sino-Japanese wars, the 1898 Spanish-American War, and the 04-05 Russo-Japanese war all in a decade.
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

@snip more or less what I figured from the conversations I had been present for in the past.
"He either fears his fate too much,
Or his desserts are small,
Who dares not put it to the touch,
To win or lose it all!"

So where is this at?

Waiting to hear back from Darman on some stuff, so consider this public name and shame. My little corner of EVE also sort of got lit on fire, so there is that to.

I will respectfully submit that you guys need to advance this soon or delay the in-game stuff until you're ready out-of-game.

<=== another dude itching to post his H2/1904 stuff. :)

For my part,
I'm caught up
I'm hoping to use parts of the next week to work on my H2/1904 - H1/1905 writing.
So I'm good for one more week.
And since the world revolves around me (I can prove it, I just spin in a circle and it revolves) So let's say Saturday the 16th?

I actually saw the whole universe slowly turning around me... and I was not even spinning around in a circle... :D

... I was actually trying to take photos of stars, planets and the moon and I needed to keep correcting the angle of the camera to keep all those damn things in frame! :)

Here is Jupiter with several of its moons moving over my location in a 120 second exposure using my E-620 and the 1000mm MTO lens...

The timeline is all written up, I just need Dar to get back to me saying it's ok to post.
