ok this isnt exactly "strange" but it is quite capable of Riverine operations, can make the run from Congo to Italia or Belguim with only one stop for Coal at Gibralter, and even with its Tinclad armor it would definetly make anyone looking to mess with it send a real battleship (did I mention it is capable of Riverine operations)

I got some weird ideas, but unfortunately no SS3 till January. That said I could do some in SS2 to be converted to SS3 later...

Somebody had to make a round one. Widely spaced screws and multiple rudders allow for maneuverability in constrained environments. Power is sufficient to counteract the current, at least most of the time, but she'd probably drop anchor to fight. Simple machinery means it should be more maintainable under suboptimal conditions.

In her intended environment, she's be functionally unsinkable. I wouldn't recommend taking her to sea though.

You want weird? Here it is :p, Walter feel free to do it in SS3. Its just a rough draft so could use some polishing.

Armament is AQY, with the 9.45"s in two banks of 5, almost like torpedo tubes on destroyers. The 57mm are gatlings, and the 0.3 are rifles for 50 embarked troops.
