Proly gona have issues with the Q turret (like IDK if it will fit man), thats why I switched to majority foreward.  Other than that im not exactly sure where it fits, not enough armor to stand in the line of battle, but not fast enough to run down most ACs (the Majority apear to hit atleast 22 knots).

Other than that I rather like it actualy.

Still not convinced that you need 100mm & 65mm guns on the same ship, especially when you're only shipping 4 of the 9-pounders.

I believe you're limited to 12"/40s at this time period.

Horizontal armor on the ends of the AC might be a bit light.

Other than that, look pretty solid, and familiar to the USN.

Nice ASCII-Art, but I still don't understand. You have turrets on deck, yet raised casemates in the same place. In my mid, that just doesn't add up.

KWorld

It would probably work the same as on the OTL US Omaha class, which had a twin centerline 6" "turret" (SS would call it a deck & hoist mount) on each end with stacked 6" casemates just behind and outboard of the centerline mount.  See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:USS_Milwaukee_(CL-5).jpg
