QuoteMight want to check the main guns on the Cumbria, the layout is a bit messed up.
Must have slipped through while I was busy with the other guns... :-[
QuoteI love that pic
Scharnhorst? Yes, a nice picture of a nice ship. :)

You'll probably recognize this one right away without having to check the name of the picture file.  :D

I think the rule is that no "strengthened torpedo bulkheads" can be used, because they seem to have some math issues.  It's possible that it's the same "save first, then they're OK" type thing that torpedoes and DCs have, but we haven't checked that yet.

Walter

Hmmm... I thought I had thrown that one off completely... Need to fix that as well when I get back home.

When it was mentioned earlier, I checked it and as far as I could see, it does not add anything even if you reload it. You can also see that I forgot about it since the main belt and upper belt are both 310 feet long while the tbh is 309.4 feet long (and with a normal armor layout, I always use the same length for main/upper belt and tbh).

Walter

Should be correct now.

Might want to check the Moltke's casemate layout, there's a lot of guns being fit into the forward end of the ship there.

Nah, all the casemates are just on the forward part of the break.
Considering that is 70% of the ships length...

Quite right. From what I understand, the borderline between foredeck and aft deck in SS is determined by the midbreak, so if it is as far back as 70% (which is actually a bit of a guess), the majority of the weapons will be located in front of the midbreak instead of behind it. When you look at the linedrawing of the Diadem (which I based the Moltke on), you will see that with the exception of a pair of 6" guns and a pair of 12 pounders, everything is in front of the mid break.
