Good legs, don't see anything wrong with the guns except for the loads of MG's... well within the rules.

Short armor belt, high freeboard... study the performance of the Infanta Maria Teresa class in the battle of Santiago de Cuba if you want to find out what she'll be like in battle. Are the mines in a handling deck or on the weather deck? They and the above water torpedoes are a big fire hazard either way.

All in all, I don't have any complaints.
A good starter ship.
Good character- not a bad ship, but good historic problems to add flavor.

Just remember, long legs don't reduce ship cost- we use Normal tonnage rather than Light tonnage when computing cost.
So 'ere's to you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, at your 'ome in old Baghdad;
You're a pore benighted 'eathen but a first-class fightin' man;
We gives you your certificate, an' if you want it signed
We'll come an' 'ave a romp with you whenever you're inclined.

Well she is supposed to be a true cruiser, operating independently for long periods of time, and at high speeds, hence the long legs. Armament is split into 4 turrets to make her look more imposing as showing the flag would be a secondary role. Mines would probably not be carried on a regular basis, but its better to have the flexibility if needed.

Very thin main belt, and very short for a 14' freeboard.
You're still looking at only about 4'-5' above the waterline.
That's gonna be a large area for QF guns to attack; additionally the end belts are going to be ineffective against anything over about 20mm-25mm. I daresay that they will only serve to detonate lighter shells that would normally go through-and-through.

Still- she is economical, contains a lot of firepower, and the mine racks would allow her to prepare her own positions on the fly... as long as she isn't caught carrying a load on her back.

Ok, SS3 is becoming really annoying. Went through everything can't find the problem. Ignore the torpedoes and A/S mortars, supposed to represent something else.

QuoteAll hail the master!
Yeah, I'm the greatest! ;D

... actually, the reason I know that is because I ran into exactly the same problem a few times and I had no idea what I was doing wrong. It took me a while to figure out that I actually forgot to set the layout of one of the mounts and SS does not give you any warnings that you forgot that input. But once you know what the cause of that problem is, it's an easy fix whenever you run into it the next time.
