Well my efforts don't come up with something I would consider.  I think Guinness is correct and the beam needs to be out around 23m, if not slightly more.

The USN triples were around 20m. I tried a 4xT3 design which at least has some light armor vs DDs, but only by sacrificing seakeeping, which makes the dash speed less useful.
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest
