I used way back in N-verse ver 1.0 to show the Swiss Army uniforms, but I lost that file.

Cool...I may have to tinker with this myself.

I don't have quite the same range of troops as the Swiss do.

TexanCowboy

If I knew how to draw, I would do that...so amazing.

The Rock Doctor

It's just a whole shitload of little pre-drawn guys.  Just find a set you like, and adjust the colors to suit.

Don't plan on getting a Photostory anytime soon. I'm like Borys...

Modified my pic above - I'd forgotten some important folks.

No doubt they paid you a visit to remind you how important they are. :)

I think even paper soldiers are beyond me just now.
For now, and possibly indefinitely, I'll use text.

I have been thinking that Bavarian uniforms for Line infantry are like Wuttermberg's- dark green with black trim.

Mountain troops probably are light grey and green, with a reversible poncho with white.

Marines are blue and white.

Cav are Dragoons and Uhlans. The Dragoons have a lobster tail helm and Holtzer breastplates over red and green uniform tunics. A green greatcloak and black & green tunics can be used for the field.  Uhlans wear tight black trousers with braid, dark blue jackets.

The jaeger cap is standard issue in most formations, but the newer helmet is most similar to the French WWI, and is being adopted as Corps are upgraded to the new TO&E.

Kommandos, who knows, you can't see them anyhow :)
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

When France and Bharat went head to head, the French colonial troops had the typical Zouave look, the red baggy pants, and for the tropical climate, a light blue vest. A cap, shape and color depending on unit/corp topped it.

The troops that went there from France were a mixed blessing.  Some had the old style blue uniforms, others were already changing to the UNK styled green uniforms. The dark green uniforms are becoming standard for the European forces. The tropical uniforms are depending of the whims of the commanding officers. Cameroon and Gabon fall under 1 command, and the staff in conjunction with the governer there favor the white/light tan uniform. (unpainted cotton is cheaper than well painted wool)

Now, with the navy taking hand in creating a cutting edge corps, several other styles are being "tested".  For now, the designated leader of the test team favors a close cut uniform with 3 shades of green.
