May 1914:

A new sight in Copenhagen is the former Czar of Russia taking his family for a Sunday walks along the old fortification around the city. After his departure from Russia his mother along with the rest of his family has been living in his mother's mansion a few kilometres north of Copenhagen.
His two oldest daughters have started at the university and the youngest is still attending the gymnasium (high school) together with her brother Aleksey though his attendance is more sporadic due to his ailing health.

During the summer negotiations on a defence treaty between Bavaria, The Netherlands and ESC continues and is getting closer to a conclusion, the hope is that negotiations will conclude before the end of the year.

Also the negotiations between Russia and Esc are getting near a conclusion, which is more or less a confirmation of former relations between the two powers.

December 1914

Allegation from Italy towards New Zion for being responsible for the murder on the pope causes raised eyebrows among politicians in ESC.Most politicians agree that the "evidence" presented against New Zion is as best circumstantial or wafer thin as a prominent member of the Conservative party exclaimed. Even though the ESC is strictly neutral ,the confederation fells compelled to reinforce its naval forces in the Indian Ocean and is thus despatching the older battleship Torden along with 3 Light Cruiser to Gujarat.

P.S. Chapter 3 and the prologue to the Baltic Greenland expedition is still on the worktable and will hopefully be finished in the upcoming week-end.(its more difficult than anticipated)

The ESC parliament ratifies the Baltic Sea Agreement with Russia
