Given that a lot of GC shipping would make use of Belem's port faciltiies, GC would be willing to contribute 50% to that project.

miketr

I believe that will be $2.5 and 0.25 BP for half of Belém; let me know when you wish to put that in and I will do the other half.

A bit besides the point, but what do a military naval base/port to do with shipping?

GC has that river gunboat squadron on the Amazon with other military ships making port calls.  So I assume that is what Rocky was talking about.

The Rock Doctor

Exactly.  Perhaps "a lot" was overstating things, though.

The Rock Doctor

Oh, as for the date - probably 1915.  Borys is getting all my extra military cash in 1913 and 1914.

miketr

noted that finished radio towers and added need to get a type 4 slipway and dry dock.

BUMB

Noted that two of the 350mm batteries are done and some funds put towards Brazil port project

miketr

Figured it was time to figure out what was going on with this; as I had been just dumping money and BP on it.
