Spain had more than that. 6 BBs, 2 ACs, 13 PCs, and 37 DDs to be exact, thats with losses already accounted for.

Well they might have lost more if they were fighting the Swiss over the Philippines in 1905....But then the Swiss would probably have lost something as well.

"6 BBs, 2 ACs, 13 PCs, and 37 DDs"
What moment in time was that?

Thats what Marek stated the PESN had after the revolution. But if you want more losses due to Swiss war say 5 BBs, 2 ACs, 11 PCs, and 33 DDs? The only ships I was going to sink in a extended Swiss-Spanish war was a single BB and a few misc small vessels. But this would have been accounted as extra ships Spain had, so instead of having 6 BBs Spain would have 7 losing 1 ending up with 6.

So it must had been at the start of the Civil War, as he left the board at that time.
Was this on BOTH sides, or the Socialist Royalist Legalist side only?
The Civil War war dragged for about a year after that.

The DKB was building a Coast Defense Battleship (Filipinas) for Aragon-Navarra, delivered Q4/05...

Iberian might.

You are "bery mighty"
You have
6 BBs, 2 ACs, 13 PCs, and 37 DDs from the Spanish fleet, you get the Filipinas, and you have the Portugues fleet.

You also have a
Type 2 Navy Base at Rio de Janeiro, with
Type 1 slip
type 1 drydock

This is totally up to you.
Remember the possible cadres in 1909.

If I may advise anything, it would be one Active Corps per 2 or 3 million people. You might consider one or two Wartime (regular, 100% strenght) Corps to be used in nasty places - Atlas Mountains, South Philippines - or as strategic reserve.

I stole the battle cry of the Spanish Foreign Legion - "Viva la Muerte!",  with "Hoch mit Todt!" or "Na Zdar Smrt!" resounding all over the world, but I suppose you could still use it.
Lenght of service 2 or 3 years, and how units are stationed (in recruitment district, or furthest possible from recruitment district, etc.) can make for nice storytelling.

Deployment should reflect both internal and international cosiderations:
- are there areas likely to rebel?
- are there areas with simmering rebelions
- is that neighbour friendly?
- how easy is it for me to get reinforcments there?

Maybe you could write a short blurb about why are they Elite? Maybe the Jungle fellows are veterans of the guerilla war against the French and Anuhuac ...

Miketr - I moved your OdeB to your country section. Please state where individual corps are stationed.

Borys,

in what language the "OdeB" acronym stands for Order of Battle?
