I finally made a 1000 design which I'm happy with. Copying the dimenions of the historical GTB 1913 helped :)

Grosse Torpedo Boot, for you heathens out there :)

Interesting artificat - decreasing range to 2000 @14knots brings up light displacement to 995 tonnes ...

I think 2x3 is no problems whatsoever...
One could have a few men behind the mounts holding a bunch of torpedo each for rapid reloading, god know one needs lots of hit to sink anything with 5cm torpedoes!

Yes I know is it a typo, but a classic one! ;)

Of course I missed the zero ... well, fixing torpedo size from the Rapid Fire Torpedos of Ultimate Unavoidable Wet Doom brought the "Room for accommodation and workspaces" report to something beleivable ...

As we sometimes say in our gaming group "The Four Inch Rifles of Doom!"  Mainly because for whatever reason, when we roll for critical hits, the 4" guns seem to cause the most (randomly), and do far more damage on the crits than that guns will do.  Our battleships will miss with the mains and secondary batteries, but hit with the 4" quickfires....it is quite funny after six turns. (they all have equal chances to hit and score a critical...damage is the variable based on gun size and number of guns.  They must do damage to cause a critical hit however.)
