I really dislike the huge range this ship has as it screws with her light and standard displacement but Misc weight was as high as I could push it and not cause the ship to be in danger of tipping over from a stiff breeze.

I thought that the 12kton of fuel and Misc weight simulated equipment, and not actual fuel.
If so a tender would need 10kton fuel and misc and then any fuel needed for the ship itself.

If I am wrong I think se is a alright ship for the purpose, without and real flaws or strengths.

I don't know on that point...  the rules said 12K so I put got a total of near 12K.

Springsharp doesn't sim merchants very well.

That is why Van Owen came up with the alternative solution of the misc weight/range exchange.

Combined with the need for coliers, tenders and assorted support ships, it came to me, as new moderator for the nverse II, that it was "better " to Springsharp a lightly armed and armored vessel with reasonable misc weight and a huge load of coal/oil to get a useable ship.
High cruise speed and/or huge range will fill in that part.

QuoteSmall fleet tender
They do need miscellaneous weight+fuel of 5kT or more*
They have repair facilities up to protected cruisers.
They also count as temporary lvl 0 ports, regarding small repair works and the ability to support stationed warships, i.e. up to 25 000t total.

Large fleet tenders
They have repair facilities to accomodate everyday repairs of battleships.
Large tender must have fuel + miscelaneous weight 12K or more.
They also count as Type 1 ports regarding small repair works and the ability to temporarily support stationed warships, i.e. up to 100 000t total.

The Misc.Weight represent the workshops, shower rooms, stores, etc.

*The fuel is needed for Springsharp, to prevent the Misc.Weight from turning the ship over.

Any suggestions on how to improve the wording?
