The two frontal guns are side by side fore of bridge. The three aft are:
- one amidships, between stacks
- one superfiring
- one on deck

The 2xTT mounts are alongside the two stacks.

35 tonnes miscallenous weight:
- 10 tonnes medium w/t
- 12 tonnes (or is 18?) for the torpedo armament
- captain's bathtub, etc.

No, I think it's fine as far as being "overgunned", but why the side by side on the front? Wouldn't superfiring the front mount be better? Broadside of 5x6 instead of 4x6.

The KuKK (Kaiserlich und Koenigich Kriegsmarine) does not do superfiring yet.
:)
This vessel is IMO too small to raise the bridge above an elevated gun.
And I simply LIKE the side by side arrangement.

And I do have a 5 gun broadside - between 45 and 80 degrees to each side.

But you got me thinking - maybe the fore guns could be one behind the other, like on the Japanese ships?

You could try 2 amidships facing away from each other, or have the two on the sides amidships with one foward.
