Ahoj!
What I wrote in my country section now strikes me as too advanced. And too British.

So, ...
An Infantry corps has about 50,000 men.

Corps HQ
Field Hospital
Cavalry Brigade - 1800 troopers +16LMG, 6x3" guns (some 2000-2200 men in total)
Bridging Regiment
Railroad Battalion
Sappeur Battalion
Pioneer Battalion - 4x9" and 12x6" minenwerfer (I probably got carried away here :))
Jaeger Battalion 1200 rifles +16 LMG
Heavy Artillery Brigade - 24x6 inch howitzers, 8x4 inch guns

2 Divisions, each a:
Cavalry Division (half regiment) - 400 troopers +4xLMG
Pioneer Coy - 6x3" minenwerfer
2 Brigades, each with 2 Infantry Regiments
Regiment - 3 Battalions +MG coy= 3000 rifles and 8 MG

Field Artillery Brigade
4 Battalions, each with 12x3" guns and 6x4" howitzers

IMO very good for 1914, but not over the top

Corps summary:
144 light field artillery pieces, 32 heavy artillery pieces, 64xHMG

Ahoj!
Thinking of it, the Foot Artilery Brigade is a bit too large for the period.
Maybe:
4x4x6" howitzer
1x4x9,5" mortar
1x4x4" gun

How 'bout that?
