If we had construction planned for 1905 is it grandfathered?

Oh and can only of the Mods put some child boards for Army, Navy, Palace & Encylopedia in the UNK area.

Actually, come to think about it, with permission I'd like to lay 2 of these down in 1905, it is an old design with modifications to fit in with the turbine tech

2 of these BB's will be the only construction in 1905, and will still need $4 each to finish in 1906

As per my budget on the old board, I was panned to lay my experimental 50% oil fired vessel and  two colonial avisos. Later in the year something for the Danube, and maybe a fleet tender.

Ship construction cost (the $ one) must be paid when the ship is laid down. Thir represents naval laws and budgets setting money aside for the construction, companies sarting to manufacture armor plates and guns, and such.

Should we finish construction of 1905 ships per the old rules? and lay down new ships with the new rules in 1906?

I'd prefer that ships for 1905 conform with the new tech tables.  Otherwise, we end up with even more non-conforming ships than we already have.

Since I didn't quite last long enough to plan 1905 shopping, I shall do so now.

My suggestions for 1905 construction

Everyone can use half his total HBP for constrution to keep thing simple- so twice the HBP value for the whole year.
First, this must be spent on finishing existing ships. Even if those ships won't be finished in 1905.
Any remaining HBP can be spent on ships of classes already laid down in 1904, spending the maxmum amount of possible on each ship.

I will have completed four protected cruisers, two transports, and 6 river gunboats for the Tigris + Euphrates.

Edit: Considering that I would have finished all of this by the end of 1904, I'm still not sure what I will do with 1905. Possibly a capital unit.

Revision from me, Dreadnought will be the only new ship design from the UKA in 1905, all other construction, being the finishing of old build programs including the Quebec and Fluerus Class Escort groups, and the Dido class Cruisers.
