Russia is close to achieve the 1908 turbine tech  :)

Olekit, a few problems wit your design:
- hoists are needed for the gun mounts
- Main belt does not fully cover magazines and engineering spaces
- Torpedo Bulkhead (unnecessary)
- won't fit it into a lvl 1 dock (120m length)
- research for the 1912 engine tech cannot be started earlier than 1909

Korpen's design:
- thin armored deck
- very few shells for the guns
- might not be enough deck space for 8 guns amidships
- I'd fit it into a lvl 1 dock (120m length)
- bad seaboat, enough for the Atlantic, unacceptable for oceans
- not enough freeboard (4m for 62% length?), and also wet forward

My design on the same displacement has 3 guns less broadside (5 centerline), but that's both shorter and designed for bad weather.
The first purpose of a warship is to remain afloat. Anon.

Agree on most accounts, it is not something I would build myself, but I was trying to fit it in the specifications given.

But here is no problems fitting in 4 guns on each side on a 135m long ship, and I do not think wet forward is a real problem, most real world warships seems to get that one in SS.

The Brandenburgian designers tear their hair out, but finally come up with something vaguely workable.

This ship would require acquiring the oil-firing tech from Brandenburg, if Russia hasn't it already.

Olekit,
if you have no hoists, the cruisers will either have no ready ammo to fire after 20 rounds, or every second superstructure hit would find a live ammo storage.
The first purpose of a warship is to remain afloat. Anon.

Red arrows point to the centerline guns.

She fulfils all requirements except the 75mm guns, they were excluded as not having enough combat worth to keep.
While she do not have the required number of guns, she still have a nine gun broadside, as much or more as any other design here.

Remove the torpedo bulkhead, it does not add anything to the survivabillity, in fact it decrease it as the ship gets allot more cramped.

I really want to see that drwan to sacle before i think you can fit in 12 15cm guns on a 90m long area of the ship, and still have room for funnels and superstructure.

Also, it only gives you a two-gun ends on fire.
