Colonial Holdings and available deployment points

Greetings,

I needed to get an idea of who had what.

So I've counted the colonies, reviewed the most recent (some are 1911) turns to figure IC built and deployment points built.

I then figured out how many deployment points each player should have 'free',
and what their amphib tech (based of total deployment pts) allowed them to send overseas in a single HY.

Player Nation                 "Free"   ||   max usable for amphibious attacks
Northern Kingdom :            0          ... the Norse hold 13 more provinces than they have the deployment points for.  After 4 HY, an ungarrisoned province 'goes wild'. So in HY1, 1913 I will remove provinces.

Rome :                              20               7
Vilnus :                              31            13
Byzantine:                           9              5
Iberia :                              26              7
Japan :                              17              4
Parthia :                            23            12
Inca :                                 17             3

"Free": Not committed to garrison, can be used for land or amphibious attacks

Map :
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

snip

You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

You say this, but how am I to needlessly smother large parts of the world without them?

Desertfox

I am a bit confused by the Byzantine #8 and #9 claims, what exactly is being included?

I assume Parthian #38 does not include Singapore, which would be under Thai control?

Also shouldn't Port Moresby be Iberian?

# 8 is Maputo
# 9: Madagascar, whose conquest is not over.

A column "Battles" will have spiced the board  :)

I mean the ones on the map, the islands near Darwin and Sunda.

You are correct, Port Moseby is Iberian, I missed it on all 3 maps.

Singapore is Thai.  Without the British intervention starting in 1819, and making Singapore a regional capital in 1826....  Malacca is likely still the main Thai port, and Singapore continues as a settlement of a 1000 folks or so.

The Raiu islands are part of an Indonesian province, which Parthia holds. Had the same with the Dutch in Wesworld.

What I think Desertfox is referring to is those islands, but the fact I put a purple circle around much larger areas.

Generally speaking, if there is a current province that matches well with a map area - particularly for islands, I presume that is "1 province".

Jefgte has chosen to ONLY grab part of the larger provinces.
The rest IS available for others to conquer... but if Jefgte's units want to expand and get the rest they can.

Ultimately, a province can only have 2 IC.. so if the province gets subdivided, I will divide that building potential between the two largest owners.
