The Royal Flying Corp is primarily concerned with protecting and patrolling the waters of the Kingdoms Primary Harbors and Water ways. As such a total of 17 Type 2 Aerodromes were constructed from 1917 thru 1919 with three more completed in 1919 for a total of 20 Type 2 Aerodromes.
These Airfields each capable of supporting up to 2 full Wings of Aircraft are located just inland from each and every Royal Naval Port.
In addition the 3 additional Airfields were built along the perecieved line of threat within the Norman Home Islands. These Airfields are located along the Norman/Dutch Border in the Highlands of Scotland. At present these airfileds contain a single squadron of 1916 Reconisance aircraft each.
