Boring ships for 1920. Just adaptations of two freighter designs for support of coast defense installations. Both of these would be acquired under merchant shipping rules.
First a "mine planter" which is really just a tramp steamer equipped to lay command detonated minefields. Equipment includes a couple of skiffs for hauling out wiring and junctions for the command detonation system, and equipment for putting bottom mored mines in the water. For comparison, see http://patriot.net/~eastlnd2/army-amps.htm. A pair of these are expected to be acquired.

The second is a dedicated freighter for delivering coast defense guns to the site of their emplacement. A requirement was drafted for this when it was realized there would be difficulty chartering such a ship for delivery of coast defense guns from a foreign manufacturer. This ship is an adaptation of another common merchant, and will be capable of shipping and delivering up to 4 16" guns at a time, including their breeches and essential mounting gear.

IMHO, two 2x405 mm guns should come with the ship, as already built, because if you're paying for the misc. weight already...or, alternatively, 500 tons off the price of the light tonnage...
Meh. It's costing me a quarter of its cost in displacement anyway. What fun is life if I can't blow $0.375 and 0.375BP on something like this? :)
Both ships could have other uses too I suppose.
Not quite new ships, these are refurbishments of ships acquired through means I'm not at liberty to reveal. Essentially the armament is replaced with Ottoman equipment, fire control and long range wireless sets standard to the Ottoman Navy are fitted, and where applicable ships are converted from coal to oil firing. Details of these ships and their refurbishments will (of course) be kept secret, but observers will surely note them as they pass through Suez on the way to the few Ottoman type 2 dry docks.
