Title: RRC Standard Designs
Post by: Logi on July 20, 2010, 02:45:56 PM
I entertained the idea of an standard battle-line similar to that of the USN Standard-Type Battleships. This thread will be solely for such designs.

Standard:

24 Kts Max
8000nm @ 12 kts
All-forward Armament
20 Degrees Sloped Main Belt
All-or-Nothing Scheme - Armored Box is ~65% of the PPL
Seakeeping a bit above 1.00
Stability at 1.09
2.5" TDS extending all of underwater length.
Heavy Turret Face and Barbette Armor

So basically a slightly smaller version of the American Colorado class?

Nice high main belt

He has been going 20* inclined lately, so it's really only 16'(2 decks) high.
