Title: Airship size
Post by: Blooded on March 27, 2008, 03:46:00 PM
Hello,

I was looking at the site that P3D had posted for airships and noticed that most of the ships ratings were in cubic feet. Does anyone handily know what our airships would be in cu. ft?

QuoteType 0 Volume: 10 000m³ nonrigid, 1 tons military payload speed 30kts
Type 1 Volume: 20 000m³ and 4 tons military payload speed 40 kts
Type 2 Volume: 40 000m³ and 9 tons military payload speed 50 kts
Type 3 Volume: 70 000m³ and 16 tons military payload speed 60 kts
Type 4 Volume: 130 000m³ and 31 tons military payload speed 65 kts
Type 5 Volume: 210 000m² and 60 tons military payload speed 70 kts

Thanks.

Multiply by about 35, and Bob's your uncle.

Thanks. Some of those Passenger Airships were huge and the lap of luxury. Impressive.
