Title: Historical data sources
Post by: Korpen on March 14, 2007, 06:11:17 AM
Contains data on population size for most countries in the world, often split into administrative regions, som it can be nice when historic regions are split between different countries in-game.
http://www.populstat.info/
I really have no idea of how accurate it is in whole, but it can still be useful.

Lots of pictures of the fortresses around the city of Boden in northern Sweden.
The construction was started in 1901 and most of the main forts were completed around 1910.

The Gunnery Pocket Book 1945

http://hnsa.org/doc/br224/index.htm
Quote"The Gunnery Pocket Book, B.R. 224/45, 1945 was created near the end of WW II and therefore represents the peak of British WW II gunnery. This edition has a few small corrections and updates that were added by hand in 1949 that are reflected in the text.

In this online version of the manual we have attempted to keep the flavor of the original layout while taking advantage of the Web's universal accessibility. Different browsers and fonts will cause the text to move, but the text will remain roughly where it is in the original manual. In addition to errors we have attempted to preserve from the original this text was captured by optical character recognition. This process creates errors that are compounded while encoding for the Web."
