The starter of Protestantism ,and a few centuries of european warfare.  Great.

The Rock Doctor

Ah, subtle.  While I'm tempted to call it unnecessary needling by the Swiss, I also appreciate the fact that the sim has enough "history" to make the needling meaningful.

Desertfox

A slip of the penknife, payback for restarting the Inquisition. And to top it of, my new destroyer class after the Van Hakes will be called William Tell.

Martin Luther
Jan Hus
John Wycliffe
William Tyndale
Huldrych Zwingli
John Calvin

still looking for more names to use, 12 of these will be built.

Hmm, I'm thinking of caling my next pair of battleships the Torquemada and Auto da Fe .... Heilige Dreieinigkeit just doesn't have the same ring to it like Santissima Trinidad.

Make those your battlecruiser if you have any.  Gives you a reason for a new naming convention.

Desertfox

Now those are really provocative, calling a ship after the act of burning people at the stake? But it will help me rally countries under the flag of religious freedom.

Under the flag of religious freedom? NS is anything but that. If a state with sabbathical protestantism as the de facto state religion, and prosecutring catholics, goes to spread its own ideas of religious freedom they are just another bunch of fanatics.
The first purpose of a warship is to remain afloat. Anon.
Below 40 degrees, there is no law. Below 50 degrees, there is no God. sailor's maxim on weather in the Southern seas

Borys

Another worthy for that class would be John Knox
And "religious freedom" and "John Calvin" in a single sentence make me smile :)

NS does not have a state religion. Yes most people are Sabbatical Protestants, and Catholicism is frown upon, but there is full freedom of religion, there are Catholics, Jews, and Muslims in NS. And we certainly dont go around burning people for their beliefs.
