I believe I have "fixed" it, and it should show up.

I logged in both with my normal browser and a 2nd that was just a guest and I can see it now.

So, I am not sure what exactly the issue is.
The permissions appear identical to the existing subboards.

I could create or move it as a subboard of player nations and as 'Moderator account' see it. Heck I could link it and send it to Jeremy.

The guest account however, could not see it.

Moving it from NPC to PC 'hid' it for most. Moving China from PC to NPC 'hid' that.
BUT I could make a brand new board as a subcategory of "World of Navalism" and that would show for all...with the same permissions.

Anyhow, I cheated and modified the subboard permissions to be not just 'regular member', but also Newbie -> Hero types of members....and at least for my guest browser that seems to have 'fixed' it.
I don't know why though...

Jeremy has been asking questions about which techs and which guns.
I think the Tech and Artillery Tabs will help him out.

I was going to get his fleet choices and then populate this for him
and provide some pointers on how the turn sheet works,

I have turned many of the fields where you 'copy + paste special, Text numbers' to Green letters,
which should make that a little clearer.

Blue letters are still the primary inputs.

The concept is that the current navy includes some ships that just completed at the end of 1935.5 aka 1935HY2. So there is a clean slate moving forward.

I also 'saved up' 1/2 year of BP.

I see it now, actually.

Quick primer on Laksmanavati/Vilnius Union relations:

Well, there really aren't any.  The Vilnius Union has no territorial interests outside the Atlantic Ocean.  There aren't any formal alliances with Laksmanavati neighbours either.  Friendly with Parthia and Azteca, and the Byzantines are nice, but nothing formal.

A 1922 tour of Vilnius Union warships, carrying the now-king of the Union, did stop in at Chittagong for a couple of days.  There was some high-level schmoozing and a shooting demonstration by a Union light cruiser.

I'm contemplating another global tour in 1936 or 1937, and am happy to schedule a pit-stop at Chittagong or elsewhere if you're interested.

Good to know you aren't hostile, at least

We are interested. How are diplomatic things like that handled?

The Rock Doctor

Yeah, these days I'm far more interested in designing ships than sinking them.

I'd post something in my news thread about a new world tour, including a notional itinerary.  Other players would say yes or no to visits, I work out a more detailed itinerary, and then maybe we'd have a PM chat about what happens during the visit.  I'd post a news article and maybe you would too.

Depending on what I brought along, there'd be an opportunity perhaps for a brief wargame or detailed tour or sink-ex.

Sounds good. The Laksmanavati ambassador awaits your itinerary

I can still only see the History & Politics sub. Unless I'm missing something entirely

Ok, I went and did the same permissions trick with each sub-board.
So you should be able to see the rest now.

I'm sorry but I'll look at the Navy sheet tomorrow night and move that to the Turn sheet I put up for you previously. I'm a little jammed up on time right now.

No worries on the delay

Ok, so this is the much the same sheet I put up before.

I have entered the ships you chose into the "Active Navy" Tab.
That tracks the tonnage and links to the Economy tab so maintenance can be paid.

The basic sheet provides space to track which squadrons the ships are assigned to , and fleets.

Adding ships is simple - insert a row via right click.  Copy an existing row (the bottom copy/paste row is there for that). Fill in data.

If you want to keep the armaments and other data from the Laksamavati Fleet sheet, feel free to rename the columns to the right of the grey box - MNO.

Take a look at the Turn sheet.
The bookkeeping aspect is a little grindy despite our best efforts.
Many of the activities such as building ships or Industrial Capacity occur over several half years,
and so there are columns for previous spending, current spending and Total spent by end of Half Year. .

In general, blue letters/ numbers are places the sheet is looking for an input. That includes such things as Class Names. Me, I found a Pahlavi (middle-Persian) to English dictionary online and use that, but that part is completely up to you.

Green numbers are the prior spending columns.
At the beginning of the halfyear, moving the number from total spent at end of half year to previous spending is the fidgety part. I usually select the column, copy, and then past as special.

Each major subject gets it's own tab.

I'm sure there will be some questions. You can see the other players have customized things for their preferences. You can as well.

I am busy much of this weekend, but the others, as you've seen, are happy to chime in.

I'm working through the sheet and a few questions came up:

- I found the world map, but is there one where the provinces are labeled?
- My Research shows $0.10 previously invested in 2x110mm PDP mounts but my Artillery tab shows those as already available?
- How much roughly does 1x land or 1x air point represent? For storyline purposes I'd like to create some unit names for them
- Can I use my allocated merchant tonnage for anything that meets mercantile standards?

An air point represents something larger than a squadron.  Generally I consider it to be a multi type wing roughly the size of a carrier air group.  A squadron or two of multiple types.

A land point is somewhat vague but I consider them to be sort of a brigade or regimental combat team in size.
