Its an interesting comparison between this and the Roman 2000t Destroyers. I'm not sure the tradeoffs are worth the additional 300 tons, but that could very well be my biases.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

QuoteIts an interesting comparison between this and the Roman 2000t Destroyers. I'm not sure the tradeoffs are worth the additional 300 tons, but that could very well be my biases.

I use 3000t cruiser rule with 0.75 overall, not 2000t destroyer rule.
It is a more robust, more enduring ship with oceanic performance.

Survivability 556kg for 2330t vs 263kg for 2000t.

I've been waiting on my first Dual Purpose gun to go that route, but I expect to be heading this way very soon as well.  Plus an Offshore Patrol Vessel with AA, ASW, and Mine Warfare capability.....since my current MS-1 class is only 20 years old now.

It's interesting.
Composite hull needs to be 1.0, not 0.9.
For all years, Cruisers with turrets shall have a composite hull strength > 1.0.

I was going to mutter about the 0.434 BC, but with nearly 20m it's just really pointy at the ends.
With only 2 main battery mounts in 'B' and 'X' that should work fine. Von Der Taan did the same.

Certainly would argue against building more 6000t Moulek class..shame I liked those.
Same 'size class' as my Royal Niesan cruisers
Good speed.
The guns are larger than I've been planning for, that would be painful, I'm not sure where they would penetrate my 50mm decks.
You have slightly thinner belts and decks... not sure what that means for vulnerability one vs. the other.
Rate of fire with triples is a little lower, and 6x 234 vs. 12 x 180 is a lot lower.

Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest
