Are folks ready for 1922 to start this weekend ?
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

If 1922 sees the Myan fun start, I should probly catch up my 1921 reports (20H2 is done, just need to post)
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

Moving forward.

Somewhere in 22 is the likely time, though 23 is possible.

I don't know how 'ready' the story line is, and so once IN 1922, we may be extending it a little to accommodate.

I am at a period I have some time to do my part. I'm actually about ready to return to the Norse & Iberians.
Then .... well hopefully nothing major falls out of the sky and lands on my to do list.

Greetings all,
The clock officially moves forward to 1922 HY1.

The turn will be processed Monday Evening ~6pm PST

The End HY2 1921 map will serve as the claims base map

Revealed Resources
has been updated to reflect the 1921 gains.

  • Japan finds Mines along the Pacific Rim
The Norse find the Frozen Tundra...is really expensive to develop and yields poor returns.
The Parthians find riches in the Front Range of Colorado, Katanga and Zambezi.
The Incans follow ancient trade routes and capture where the resources are coming from in the Andes.

The "Colony Count"is as follows.

Pertinent to any upcoming Fracas - the Mayan Forces are based on ratios off the starting players, as the players have grown, the Mayans have slowly also grown.

As expected the expansion was not very exciting.

The Norse drove West across the Canadian tundra, only to be stymied by a bamboo fence guarded by polar bears dressed as Geishas.
Confused they went home.

The Japanese, having walled off the tundra, starting looking around the semi-frozen landscape to figure out what they had grabbed.

In the Andes, the Inca drive towards the Parthian-Wilno border, seeing the unclaimed ground betwixt the two.
The lower Amazon between the Inca and the Romans remains unclaimed, as I am unsure if there is an agreement about that area.

Wilno occupies the ground the Inca were eyeing.

The Berbers snap up the unclaimed territories on the boundaries

That should do it. Other that 3 spots in South America (that are already have agreements of some sort in place), everywhere else is cordoned off.

In a way yes, but nothing so formal.

Obviously I'm done with expansion.

Wasn't even really keen to grab the stuff I took this round, but eventually the Incans were going to take it if I didn't.

You can leave this area to Atahualpa.

I admit I was a bit surprised at Incan expansion given that they seemed to have a deployment deficit of some sort.
