Well Folks,
March is here,

The only nation I see having posted 1921.0 is Wilno,
and I know we are in the time frame to kick off the Mayan hoopla.


Shall we do an expansion / Turn on March 5th?

How do folks feel about moving to 1921.5 ?

I'll go ahead and post my 21.0.  I can be ready to go.

If we want to go ahead with 21.5, if the Mayan thing doesn't go in 21, that's not the end of the world, I'll continue posting up some 'tensions increasing' sort of things and we can make this a slow burn. 

Obviously Wilno will be peripherally involved, but so will Rome, and I know snip had mentioned getting spooled up on the Roman response to Mayan actions.  As they're a major player in the region, I'd like to give him opportunity to at least think over the situation and have some idea of how Rome would respond diplomatically if not militarily.

I would say 1923.0 is the drop dead date for the Mayans, but we can pick a time between now and then where this goes down.

Good to know,
It's important to keep the Sim moving along,
so folks can make progress on their own stories and development,
but ensuring the time for such things as the Mayan fracas is of high importance,
and I want to make sure we do not miss that window.

My logic is that too much time would allow for the Japanese in Panama to be so built up that it would prevent them from gaining a 'short victorious war'.....also that too much time for incidents at sea and other infractions and everyone would stomp down on them hard without them going to a truly military route.

Howdy all,

PC expansion :
Parthia picks up the two Nebraska provinces.  Now they will have a railroad terminus on the Missouri. Or whatever the river is called here :)

NPC Expansion :
Berbers expand three spots, including territory abandoned by Parthia.
Inca expand five spots
Norse expand four spots. They have more snowy wasteland than anyone , fear them !!!

There's a couple things going on.
First, AnchorSteam was looking to grab what he could, block the Berbers, but not pick a fight with another power.
I've used his thoughts as the 'player intent' on Ethiopia's expansion.
So wrapping around that little lake 'fit', but contesting a province with Wilno did not.
Then I think I also paused because of distance from their starting border. 

The Berbers are more doing the Norse - deep columns and hook to wall off chunks of the Sahel from the infidels.
