There's a bit of irony to that in that - at 46 you are 4th, edging Iberia by 1 I think.
That pack of 33, 35, 43, 44, 45, 46 colonies.
And you could grab 12 this turn in Canada-Alaska if you wanted.
There is nothing up there! (as far as IC Japan is concerned)

But I do have plenty of cash reserves now, so if anyone is selling... you know who to talk to.

QuoteHowever, since he as player did make clear an interest in the Galapagos,
I think it would be reasonable for myself as Mod - or Foxy since he's helped Maddox with the turn sheets - to negotiate on the Incan Behalf.
I... may be biased in that Japan would also be interested. Galapagos might have to wait until maddox is back.

If folks want to put in offers, feel free.

I agree Maddox might like the Galapagos, yes.

Tierra del Fuego & Galapagos...
This does not interest Byzantium, too cold & too far from my current colonies / harbors.

A family matter has come up unexpectedly soon.
I will likely not be able to process the turn before next week.

Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

The Rock Doctor

Sorry to hear that, I'll hope for the best.

Kaiser Kirk

Sorry for the delay.
Long week.

Only Japan, Parthia and Wilno seem to have expanded this turn.
The Iberians, Ethiopians and Berbers do as well, at their 'typical' 3/turn rate.

There wound up being one conflict,
between the Berbers and Parthia.
As usual, the NPC retreats.

The Rock Doctor

I hope your family situation has been resolved in most satisfactory way possible.

Desertfox

Hopefully, everything is better! On the plus side, we didn't really give you much work.

The mighty Japanese Army takes a grand total of 1 province!

These should be the End HY 1 holdings and the Revealed Resources maps.
looks like I skipped Hy2 1917 with these, sorry July has been busy and life gets in the way at times.

It does do that, yes.

Certainly nice to see a big find in fertile African territory.

Kaiser Kirk

There's several places where people are right next to a rich province...and have been...but haven't gone there.
I have the additional pain of knowing I'm one of those folks...but can't exploit that due to 'fairness'...i.e. by  sticking to my longer term plans.

The benefits of not really having anywhere else to go.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

Im sure Alaska and Canada have a bunch, but they aren't on my plans just yet, and I still have plenty of others to exploit in the meantime.
