QuoteDo you not have the Heavyweight torpedoes?  Or opting not to install them?

Difficult to install enough 4t TT on 1300-1500t with a salvoe provided.
Or it is necessary to reduce the armament or misc weight in reserve ...

Makes sense.  The 4t torps are where the choices start to come in.  Really a no-brainer to go to 21in torpedoes from 18in, except if you have a specific reason.  But the regular 21in vs the Heavyweight (longer ranged) 21in torps is where it comes into question based on doctrine and expected use.

Looks like a very effective cruiser.  Frigate in Aztec parlance.  The gun armor is a shade on the flimsy side, but I guess you're banking more on that not getting regularly hit by shells at battle ranges unlike the belt.

I don't necessarily think you need to take speed up.  30kts is going to put it in that 'high' range band as it currently sits between 30 and 32 for cruisers.  I'd probably look at increasing armor, probably by making the belt a little taller as it's pretty narrow.  You've got a nasty punch with those guns, but they're also 'big' guns, so protecting them from hits is also probably a good idea, lest you wind up with a fire in the handling spaces.  But it's definitely a 'cruiser to look out for'.  The gun size makes it capable of squaring off with the Weapon class, though they have 3000t on them, and the armor and extra guns that comes with it.  And they'll be a serious contender against my own next cruiser series.  But overall, a dangerous ship......I'd probably use the tonnage to deepen that belt and give you more wiggle room for waterline hits.
