I agree with improving the deck.   The ranges are starting to get out where you can see some serious deck pens.

I guess my only question is, what do you want these to do long-term?  For fending off cruisers or even 'razees', it's a bit much.  For fighting any of the BBs aside from some first-gen dreadnoughts.....it's a bit weak.  Are you looking to have a swarm of coastal defense ships and then a separate battle fleet and use these to economize on actual battleships?

To gun down the cruisers and to help the battleships in their jobs.
=> And for fun, I like the Pocket BB type (2T3)

These vessel types are one the Parthians are scratching their heads over. Back around 1913 we were looking at similar for coast defense battleships / pocket battleships.
I still have a design series I keep updating and tinkering with.

Edit : BTW, I note the Fire Control weight is off.
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

An other one for the fun (not in the building Plan).
I could SS them with 2T3x254.
I like this one with just 10 000t

An other one for the fun (not in the building Plan).
I could SS them with 2T3x254.
I like this one with just 10 000t

Thats what I've been calling a 'Light Armored Cruiser'
but my designs come out around 12000 tons.
I may reverse engineer this one.
Overall it looks good, but I prefer higher stability
and individually sleeved guns.
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,

Oh.  I had been looking at an 11,000t Frigate with 4x3x180mm.  And a 15-16,000t 'Razee' with 9 x 240.  Guess I should look smaller.

All I know is it is an interesting comparison to  the 1920 500t Pesh-Kabz Torpedo boat leader I put up a while ago.
I managed 2x 90mm+1x57AA, you 3x 102mm.
I suppose the biggest difference is I have 1/2 knot more speed,
and that I have 2.5x the fuel, so I can make long runs at top speed.

I like that you got the % machinery down to 50.0,
I think if I tinker with mine I may manage a 3rd gun as well.

This Torpedo Boat class is intended for work in archipelagos, narrow seas and near harbors.
Egée Sea, Red Sea, around Madagascar, Timor Sea...
To maintain the tonnage at 500t and have a powerful surface armament, the ASW function has been sacrificed.
Submarines in 1920 did not represent a very serious threat.
ASW work is for biger TBs & DDs.
