Byzantium buy these ships to strengthen its colonial fleet. The reconstruction will be similar to the Barbarossa class.
They are a bit smaller but will have the same weaponry, speed and protection.
They will therefore be reclassified BB1 like the Barbarossa.

Interesting redo.  I contemplating doing something similar with my own 25 cm gun but it didn't appeal to me.
