Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

First Error : I misinterpreted Fox's instructions regarding Australia.  Going to go fix.

The moves by Japan in Australia are very interesting. Otherwise nothing really surprising here. Peace elsewhere while the Caribbean the Gulf are set alight.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

As folks complete IC, they can move beyond the immediate vicinity of the Ports.

For the NPCs, I wait 3-4 HYs after they conquer the port symbol before they start expanding inland.
Wasn't sure if the Maya would try to flank Vilnus, or after the San Diego fiasco they would choose to be less confrontational, decided to have them box in the Parthians.

Rajasthan and Decca are skirmishing in Australia.

Decca is flabbergasted to get both the New Guinea port and Wake Island.

I do believe Wake Island is Aztec. I would have gone after that lone island (not Wake) but I thought certain other islands where actually available.

About what I expected in the Americas.

Ethiopia was certainly busy.  I'll have to pick up my pace if I want shoreline on Lake Chad.

Aztecs don't have any expansion plans at the moment as we are valiantly defending our sovereign territory from the duplicitous and arrogant Romans.
His Most Honorable Majesty,  Ali the 8th, Sultan of All Aztecs,  Eagle of the Sun, Jaguar of the Sun, Snake of the Sun, Seal of the Sun, Whale of the Sun, Defender of the Faith, Keeper of the Teachings of Allah most gracious and merciful.

An "error" slipped into the postponement on the map for conquests of The Japan / Byzantine Empire.
Byzance claims:
Quote1 - Australia => Moree (No Brisbane)
2 - Australia => Bedourie (Queensland)
3 - South America => Porto Seguro

Map Overland:
Marche South along Coast towards Moree, NSW, Aus.
Marches to take Bedouri Queensland, Aus.=> Japan map claim
South Steps from Bahia.

After learning about Japanese expansion plans, The Byzantine Empire is "annoyed" by the Japanese march to northern Australia.

Not too worry, the feeling is mutual...

Byzantine didn't want south Australia.

I didn't want any Australia and I was not disappointed.

Jefgte,
I am confused.
I am on "break" at work, and so can not see the map.
However by time I get off work, it will be after midnight in France.

It is possible the old problem with colors happened when I switched national colors, and Japan wound up shown as holding Bedourie. If so, that is an error.

I use Google to find the towns you name.
Bedourie is in Queensland, South of the Gulf of Carpentina. I mapped Byzantine as having claimed that.
Moree is in New South Wales, so I mapped Byzantine as marching South for that.

Did I err?

No problemo  ;)

Bedourie is correct .

=> I can change for Brisbane & give Moree to the Japs.

You should not have to fix my mistake.

So...the question is "Where did Jefgte intend to move ?"

You could have taken any or all of 1 , 2, 3, or 4.

Which one, or ones do you wish to send troops to?

Also,
The map I was working from was fairly zoomed out
Looking more closely at a map of Australia, part of the problem is I put the Port Symbol is the wrong spot.

It seems I put it where St. Lawrence, Queensland is, adjacent to Broad Bay.
St. Lawrence was an early port...and at this point we'll just pretend it's a fine deep harbor.

Brisbane is better, but apparently needs dredging (IC) here to shine.
