The Diplomats Strike Back
September 7-13, 1913

Hectic week (for the diplomats), boring week (everyone else), wet and muddy week (troops on Mindoro). Progress made in Brunei with the rough outline of a peace treaty drawn up, with details still to be worked out.

The Return of Peace
September 14-20, 1913

Peace achieved! Diplomats come to an agreement. In summary:

-Japan will keep Mindoro and add the Visayas (Panay, Cebu, Negros and Bohol [two provinces])
-China will keep Palawan and the Culion archipelago
-Japan will pay China $3 per half for the next 25 years
-Treaty to go into effect on H1/1914

The Parthian host also gets a nomination for the 1913 Nobel Peace Prize

Interesting sidenote, after this war, every single one of my armored cruisers has suffered underwater damage as well as every single one of my battleship classes.
