My wife's work relocating. Its going to be a fun adventure.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

Cool. Hopefully it's a smooth move without lost stuff and all.

Do you want to set a date for 1/11 colonization plans?

One week from today works fine.

I'll submit plans tomorrow, if that's okay.  I started being Acting Boss this week and it was bonkers the whole time.

I kicked in my orders earlier today.
Discussion with Vilnus means no changes to those needed.
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

Gah! 20 different plans and I still haven't decided on which one to use! :(

I have SO been there.
In pregame I sketched out an expansion based on the idea each colonial area had to be the size of a home province, then found the wording didn't require that.
So I went with a .. 5? phase expansion, each set of bases/colonies leading to the next.
I also worked out the Zanzibar Coup storyline pregame, but it would be backed by Madagascar and lead to my invasion there... well Jefgte was nice enough to let me do the Zanzibar bit.
Old plans of taking the Spice islands or seizing the lands around the River Platte have also had ...issues...crop up.
So I've had to stop and reassess where and how many - having so many deployables means I also have lots of options if I want them-  So now I'm charging ahead with the new plan.

Well, the only plan I have is to capture the areas where some of the OTL National Parks are in Canada and the US and that is it. Only question is whether to do it less realistically quick or more realistically slow. The plan I sent to snip has a few isolated areas which I intend to treat as regions that are immune to the Northern charm and friendship campaign and keep on resisting for a bit (though our message to them will be "resistance is futile. Prepare to be assimilated.") before falling to the Mighty Northern Warriors.

The Rock Doctor

Sent mine in.  Had to adjust my own plans after some late consultations from them Parthians.

Walter

Those nefarious Parthians! Always there to ruin your plans! ;D

The Rock Doctor

They were like, "I'm doing this, and this, and this..."

I was like, "Okay, we're doing this, and this, and that."

And then they were like, "WHOOPS WE'RE ALREADY DOING THAT."

I was like, "Oh."

Walter

I'm doing this, and that, and this and am carrying a big axe just in case you are trying to do this, and that, and this as well. :D

The Rock Doctor

Walk softly and carry a big axe.
