The oldest class of battleship still on the naval lists as of 1910, the Gloriosum class battleship also represents the first major step away from smaller, less seaworthy coastal defense ships. The class is also the first to use the combination of a fully enclosed turret on a barbette. As such, the class has some flaws when compared with later contemporaries. Maintained at this point for the role she displaced, retirement from any likelihood of frontline service is likely coming within a few years.

#2
Representing the adoption of the conventional twin main battery turrets, the Emperor Hadrian IX class provides a major increase in firepower over the Gloriosum class. Like the Gloriosum, the Hadrian IX's maintain some vestiges of their coastal defense ship heritage. They also have trouble maintaining 18knts in all but ideal conditions.

The Emperor Trajan VIII class embodies the hardness of the transition from Mix Main Battery, coal fires and VTE population. Originally intended to be an improved Triumphus class with updated guns, word of what was being built by other navies forced a change. Stretching the hull allowed accommodation of an additional turret of 340mm weapons at the expense of the 210mm guns. This did not come without sacrifices, and sticking with pure reciprocating propulsion or pure coal would have caused many issues while keeping roughly the same hull form. Major pushback from the Admiralty prevented installation of either a pure turbine power plant or a full compliment of oil-fired boilers. A compromise emerged with the mixed propulsion setup and the incorporation of oil spraying to help cut down on weight. Representing a slew of compromises and deals that left everyone displeased, the Emperor Trajan VIII class set the stage for the Imperial Navy's first Dreadnaughts in a less than satisfactory manner, which would bleed into the Invicta class.

The Invicta class are the first true All-Big-Gun battleships of the Roman Navy. The first ships to be equipped with a primitive centralized fire control system, they were also the first fully turbine equipped capital ship in the Imperial Navy. These turbines were also the first not to be directly connected to a propellor shaft, with an Electric Drive acting as an intermediary. An early Torpedo Defence System was also incorporated into the class.

I notice your ships have rather thick single armor decks, leaving your upper decks unprotected.
Further, at this stage you seem to be devoting a rather large amount of armor to them.
I'd suggest swapping to multiple armor decks, or slimming the armor and using the weight elsewhere.

Why ?
Looking at Navweaps, it's hard to find deck penetration numbers for weapons in this time frame, which makes sense since they were negligible.

I've made a range of guns using Logi's ballistics tool, using Navweaps data to set the ballistics table.
Shorter/earlier guns have a bit of an advantage as their 2-4crh noses cause the shot to fall sooner, but with the 345L40 firing a 545kg shell at 805mps , deck pen is only 60mm at 14,000 yards - which is 40% range than our best current technology.
The 1909 345L45 firing a 573kg shot at 831m/s only penetrates 58mm at 14,000 yards.

You'll note that in my designs, I provide at least 50-65mm as proof against the largest splinters, so 60-70mm decks do make sense, but 75-100 single decks look like a waste.

Even if one looks at even the British 15"/42 with big heavy but higher crh Greenboys that carry farther, (hmm, don't want to format the table) from Nav Weaps, they aren't getting through 75-100mm until 24,000+ yards.

Armor Penetration with 1,938 lbs. (879 kg) APC Shell
Range   Side Armor   Deck Armor
17,200 yards (15,730 m)   14.0" (356 mm)   ---
18,000 yards (16,460 m)   ---   2.0" (51 mm)
19,400 yards (17,740 m)   13.0" (330 mm)   ---
21,700 yards (19,840 m)   12.0" (305 mm)   ---
24,000 yards (21,950 m)   ---   3.0" (76 mm)
24,500 yards (22,400 m)   11.0" (279 mm)   ---
28,000 yards (25,600 m)   10.0" (254 mm)   4.0" (102 mm)
29,500 yards (26,970 m)   ---   5.0" (127 mm)
32,500 yards (29,720 m)   ---   6.0" (152 mm)
This data is from "British Battleships of World War Two."

Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,

I will tinker with the deck armor a bit, but probably just move the last three to Multiple decks rather than single.

EDIT: The Emperor Trajan VIII, Invicta, and Praeventores classes all now have Multiple Armored Decks rather than a single deck.

Designed as fast, heavy scouts for the fleet, the Excursor class proved to be the right ship at the wrong time. Not possessing the turn of speed to chase down smaller cruisers only a few years their junior while being unable to go toe-to-toe with larger cruisers, they did have usefulness in demonstrating the things a heavy scout needed by not providing fully for them.

Quick Changelog:

--Because I am a derp, I forgot to include Wireless in my Misc weight allocations. All ships laid down 1900 or later now have weight allocated to one or more wireless sets. Pre-1900 ships may get a refit with them, but I will post that separately later if they are.
