Im not saying what you want is wrong, Im saying the Spingsharp code behind the option you chose is completely broken. It does not deduct strength, but just pulls from the hull weight with no indicator that its doing so outside of that section of the weight distributions. We discovered that bug when someone here (might have been me), made a ship with -25% weight in the 'Hull, fittings and equipment' section. So in order to get Springsharp to do the correct calculations with the TDS, you need to use the Additional Bulkheads option regardless of what you intend your TDS to look like.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

hmm was just poking my nose in, don't really have time this evening. I keep meaning to find time to look at other folks designs.

1) didn't know that about the strengthened bulkheads vs. additional. Wonder if that effects any of my designs.

2) 24m for a twin 280mm with a functional TDS ?  As observed previously, many of the British/French beams reflected partial TDS or shallow ones, or both. The Germans had effective ones. Von Der Taan was 26.6m with twin 280mm.  I could see 25.5 or 26m because you have a high BC, but 24 seems a little narrow for an effective TDS

2b) However, you may be aiming for a Provence style TDS of a 1m passage backed by an 8mm bulkhead - not really functional except versus leaks. That should allowable- to make an interim design that doesn't necessarily work.   However, this also brings up the 5mm bulkhead- I've never seem 5mm in a design, 8mm is the least, and 18-19 for flexible bulkheads or 20-40mm for armored holding bulkheads a more reasonable range.

2c) I'm guessing that main belt is just long enough to cover the engines, which means the TDS is not.

3) The wing turrets are artificially 'cheap' in SS, they actually needed structural steel to support and disperse the outboard stresses, and complicated side protection, but they are neat.

4) I don't think 50mm is an adequate upper belt. We're not at the all-or-nothing phase, this is a capital ship,  that upper belt is supposed to stop intermediate guns. 50mm will keep out HE, but  If Semi-Armor piercing rounds can penetrate ~2/3 their caliber in bursting condition, 50mm will stop 75mm...which is tertiary, not secondary.  Oh, and as a trivia matter, you can't faceharden plates that thin effectively.  Effective facehardening can be done down to 100mm early on, then Germans went down around 88mm later.  This reasoning is why my 1908 AC has 100mm upper belt- face hardened and will stop up to ~150mm SAP rounds, and a 50mm end belt- meant to exclude HE rounds or stop shell splinters from making a sieve of the bow at the waterline.

5) 8000nm at 14knts?  That's a very high cruising speed for pre 1920.

6) Laying this down in 1906 means  fire control requiring 177 tons started development in 1905 and finishes development in 1907. I don't think it's unreasonable to plan some misc weight for that.

7) 25knts?  Times like these I kinda wish were posting by year so I could "react" to this. My 1908 design is about 1000 tons less, only 25.5knots, with fewer & smaller 10" main guns and slightly less armor..oh and the same beam 24m. Oh, and additional bulkheads toggled :)
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

Technical Comments: Your 1906 battleship is too early for triple turrets. The tech does not complete until 1907, and it takes an additional 18 months to design the mount. The earliest we can see triples is 1908. Also, check your main battery layouts. I noticed some looked weird. There are also some unarmored ends that crop up.

Other comments: Nice set of designs. I can see a clear evolution going up the line. For my taste, the range is too high while the armor does not give a ton of coverage compared to there contemporaries. I would drop the range to 6000nm to 6500nm range (this would still have them be in the upper tier in range) and increase the height of the main and upper belts a bit.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.
