Walter

Those were a few designs for the Norse Coast Guard, based on OTL vessels from the US Coast Guard Revenue Cutter Service. Freeboard might be slightly off here and there. The actual rise forward might be a bit more extreme and perhaps I should sim the C design with a slightly lowered center section.

Unless someone has different ideas about it, I have these vessels listed as being built to mercantile standards. To me they are not military vessels but look more like a sailing yacht or a tugboat carrying a gun. They are more to intercept Eastern Barbarians trying to smuggle illegal stuff like opium and Asian porn into the Norse Kingdom than to engage any kind of enemy warships.

Walter

Considering the location of the Norse Kingdom, the next few sims are sims of extremely important vessels and also extremely deadly ships when the enemy decides to sink them. Without them and the fixed lighthouses, your vessels are guaranteed to run into the many rocky shores. :)
