Regarding the Suleiman,
1) The all big gun tech is 1903, we get 2 years later, in 1905. So they can't be a 1904 vessel. Which will save you a little in engine displacement.

2) This has the superdreadnaught layout and should have the appropriate beam. The beam is narrower than the Bretange(26.9), Orion (26.9m), KGV (27.1), or Lion Classes (26.9) - all of which were the same centerline 340-343mm guns and lacked real torpedo defense systems.
You have a large BC, and the difference is only 1.3m, but with both French and English designs having the same historical minimum, I view it as a good minimum.

3) This relates to  the most recent rework of CBB2 - the  343 mm 40,0 cal guns are a 1900 naval artillery tech. That means the tech becomes available in 1902 for you to start developing guns and turrets, which means the guns and turrets are not available until 1904.   That means CBB2 is 3 years too early.

I'm not terribly keen on the 24.38m beam, it's only 1m more than your 305mm version.
The Counter argument is that while Suleiman is AB XY,   CBB2 is effectively B Q X, lacking the A and Y turrets where the beam narrows.
There is no historic analog to judge by. For my version, I went slightly under the historic, I really haven't had time to review most posted designs, so I don't know what other players are doing.

Jef   >:(    It is the result of the finishing of the Plan, the successive adjustments transgress the rules ...
I will change the LD dates.

When I started playing with ships I had problems with gun dates and beams.
I eventually halted ship designs, then figured out which artillery I would have and when, as well as armor penetration,
then I went back and made my ships :)
So little difficulties are to be expected :)

From Kaiser Kirk
QuoteParthia is going to look around and see these things floating in the North Sea and be very puzzled about what to do about them.  However, Jefgte will probably have to respond first.  That will dictate what I do with my Armored Cruiser/Battlecruiser designs.

Originaly, Jef built:
AC1 with 10x191
AC2-13740t-3T2x234-24kts-LD in 1900
AC3-14860t-4T2x254-25kts-LD in 1904
AC4-16000t-4T2x254-27kts-LD in 1908

Wicklow was not a problem for Byzantine (Northem Kingdom is not in Mediterranee).
But with 1910 Roman BC projects, it's different...
As I could see, AC4 LD in 1908 is obsolete with 1910-26000t Roman project.

To be coherent in the Plan, I think update my Plan & use 4T2x12" on AC4 & later, 13"5 on AC5
=> AC4 could be a kind of light Derfflinger.

... Or I could made no update & built more submarines   ;D  ;D  ;D

Now now, thets not go modifying pre-start projects to account for post-start ships.

Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

I agree, that's not correct.

No problemo, I have find other solutions  ;D  ;D  ;D
