While trying to plan out gun designs, I realized I made an error with my new 300L45.
The way the Research chart is made up, 12.000"+ get 3000, while 10.000-11.9999" get 2100.
Now, since 300 is closest to 12", I used 3000, which I can't. 11.8" <12".
Shame since I wanted my weapons to go in multiples of 7mm, then 15mm, then 30mm, then 45mm, so : 150+30= 180 + 30= 210 + 45 = 255 + 45 = 300.

Edit :
Ok, so my 300L45 was illegal.
I've done a great deal of fiddling to figure out what to build.  Nicely, Logi's Ballistic tool has the ME lb.ft^2/s^2 built in.
The 12/40 and 13.5/30 I already field actually represent about the best ME I can get for those bore sizes right now.
For guns 10" and less, I scale the 1700 lb.ft^2/s^2 by bore cross-section.
This seems to break down a tad for smaller weapons, as with reasonable shell weights I can push the MV way up, so I undershoot the max in interest of not stripping my rifling.

So the the guns that fit my fleet need the best, and upgrade over what I have are :
150L45 50kg  @890m/s
120L45 27.5kg  @890m/s -
For both it's about 20 seconds to 11000m with only a 13deg drop, nice for anti MTB/DD work, though my 90mm is still primary for that, this gives these weapons a better 'DP' capability :)
So that's what I've been building.
