QuoteOk I think I got this right, I didn't increase my IC costs since I am not at or over $75.00 total income (yet this is actually the last HY I will not be for).  If I was wrong please let me know so I can fix it.
I think that might be wrong. Looking back at the proposed rules stuff (since it does not appear that it has been edited into the rules yet), at $50 the cost of an IC goes up by $5 so the cost of your ICs should be $15 at this point with your budget of $69.68. At $75 the cost will become $20 per IC.

it says $5.00 for every one over $75.00, at least that's the way I interpret it anyway.  I think your over reacting walter (or trying to make expansion even more expensive than the rule change already did).  then again I could be wrong... the point behind that qualifier was I REALLY am not sure, it isn't in the rules and there was as far as I could tell no "Final" Proposal

It says over here (and there does not appear to be any further changes after that post regarding the cost of an IC)...
QuoteIC costs will now be on a tiered system based on income. The base cost of IC will remain $10. Starting when a nation's net income reaches $50, the cost of IC will go up by $5 for every additional $25 in income.
As I read it, at $50 the cost of the IC already goes up by $5 (at least that is how I interpret the 'starting' bit at the beginning).

When looking at the Ottoman's H1/1903 report, with a revenue of $51.377 the amount that is going to be paid for the new IC at Rumelia and the new IC at Levant is $15.

When looking at the French H1/1903 report I have no idea about the revenue available to the French but looking at the H2/1902 report, I would guess that it is around $60. The amount that is going to be paid for the new IC at Méditerranée and the new IC at Bretagne is $15 as well.

So based on all that I would assume that the cost of the IC between $50 and $75 is $15.

Actually the rules make it even more expensive than what you think was the case...

... actually I do not believe that there is a limit to the expensiveness of the ICs. Now if a nation were to properly divide the ICs among the regions and they run out of population, you will run into points where the ICs become useless for a while and it is better to build BPs because they will give you more money than an IC will ($1 vs $1.25). At that point the IC race will become a BP race... It will be worse when you get to the point where you have at least 2ICs for every 1 pop ($0.50 vs $1.25).

I honestly don't know man, that's why I asked in the thread on the rules patch... waiting for one of our over worked mods to chime in here =P

IMO, Walter is right.

Budget 0 to 50 => 10$ for 1 IC
Budget 50 to 75 => 15$ for 1 IC
Budget 75 to 100 => 20$ for 1 IC
Budget 100 to 125 => 25$ for 1 IC
