An armored cruiser with more capital ship guns than my battleships, and speed of a fast cruiser.
No below-waterline torpedoes for the Coup de grace, light secondary armament.
So you're relying on a few slow firing heavy shells with very poor capacity to burst post-armor to do damage, not really on the QF secondary.
No torpedo nets, so no close waters.

Looks like an expensive foray into the battlecruiser realm.
Did they beat the drum slowly,
Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

A bit better rounded.
You could have kept Q, but the 5x6"/side was just too light. 6x6" isn't much better, but it's better. \It's just that in this period the ability of lots of midsized rounds to chew up a ship was widely believed. The USS Oregon's big caliber hits caused some reconsideration, but we're still far off from disparate shell splashes being a fire control problem, it's pretty much all local control.

As for Torpedo Nets, the mods said 1t/m hull length, so you can have less.
Though I note it's not in the Design Considerations.
Oh wait the games back on

I googled torpedo nets.  I know wikipedia isn't always the best source but I wanted rough weights.  5lbs per square foot for the netting and about a half ton per boom, with 30-40 booms per ship.

The USS Oregon's big caliber hits caused some reconsideration

IIRC correctly (OTL), I don't think the 13" guns actually hit anything. Near-miss, yes, but direct impacts were all 8".

I believe I had a different figure for torpedo nets at first, based on the weight for 1 ship per m of hull, but was told to keep it simple - so I'm using 1t/m. :)

Hmph, I misremembered. I thought a 13" round effected the boilers in some manner.  I thought larger rounds in that battle had actually done something. Perhaps earlier with another ship... dunno. Not interested enough to go dig it up.

I don't know if it's accurate, but once upon a time I read that one reason to discontinue submerged tubes was they didn't work well over 20kts. Which may make the bow tubes problematic.

I've never heard this but thank you for the mention.

I was looking to design a small but hopefully affordable vessel for the export market.  Predominantly the ABCs but anywhere, really.

I agree with KK
Submerged bow tubes are not the best for small TB.

Good TB for Channel use.
