Message from our Ambassador in Berlin

"The Governments of the German Empire and the Kingdom of Italy have received a request from the government of Austria Hungary to assist with dealing with current disturbances rocking the Hapsburg state.  Germany per the terms of its alliance is providing aid to the legitimate government of Austria Hungary.  As part of this two German Corps are being sent to provide aid and are in no way a threatening move towards either the French Republic or the Russian Empire."

The Minister of War: Gaston Galliffet a request at the last council
  "...resetting the East border fortresses to full strength."

President Emile Loubet do not see the necessity.
He said : "This war is in central Europe, not outside central Europe. France, today, is not concerned "

In the last Council,
Important informations were transmited from the Ministére des Affaires Etrangères (Foreign Office) about Constantinople
=> President Emile Loubet decide to send;

Monsieur Alexandre de Ribot & Henri Chassain de Marcilly to the Conference of Constantinople.

After debriefing with the Council, they take the train @ Austerlitz Station (Paris) to Toulon.

From the Ministère de la Marine to Toulon
=> Order to recal the sailors on active ships.
