Forget oil firing until you have the tech researched.

Where's the linkage?  Did you use transoms previously?

P3D

I answered those questions - whuch had essentially nothing to do with this ship which you cannot build within your tech capacity.

@ Rocky, no I have not used transoms previously, I even spoke against them when the END destroyers came out. But the rules have become so strict, that the only way I was going to be able to build what I had planned* was by using transoms, despite all my new ships being repeats of ones already in service.

I am willing to modify the rules to specifically prohibiting transom stern if you really insist.

Foxy:  I can sympathize, to a point.  I had much more effective battleships planned than I am currently able to build.

I'm sure you can still build effective ships without the transom.  They won't as wide a margin of superiority over the rest of us as you'd like, but I reckon you ought to be capable of using the advanced tech you do have to keep ahead of us for a while yet.

Desertfox

But what if your entire fleet is built around speed? And suddenly you cant have that speed?

Better? Fits the rules even if its somewhat realistic.
