I dont think we revised the timeline to account for the altered Spanish American War, as opposed to having Cuba break away earlyer.

This bit. Seeing as we are starting in 1900 as opposed to earlyer, there is no reason IMO to push things in Cuba up. S-A War as historical in the Caribbean, with the necessary changes to make the Pacific work (ie, Dewey running into a Japanese fleet and opting to hop on the nope train to screwthisville rather then stand and fight).
