Conceptually, I'm inclined to go to annual turns.  But the question in that case remains, how many turns of production should we start the re-start out with?  Last time we started with 5 years, but we were using bi-annual turns then.

If we doubled our current per-turn income, then I'm good with using year-long terms.

Fleet Calculation exemple

BBs => 10 x 12.000t = 120.000t
ACs => 10 x 10.000t = 100.000t
CPs => 20 x 5.000t  = 100.000t
TBs => 80 x 500t      = 40.000t

Total = 360.000t

I think that we could start with fleets:
600.000t - UK
500.000t - USA & Germany
450.000t - France
400.000t - Russia & Japan
300.000t - Italia
...

5 turns 1895-96-97-98-99 with
120.000t per year for GB
100.000t per year for USA & Germany
90.000t per year for France
...

Just my opinion

Startup would probably done the same way we did it last time, with IC and BP so everyone can buy their ports, port facilities, armies and forts (very important to some countries), etc.

Are we going to change lenghts of the shipyards to have other building possibilities?

Use WW lenghts for exemple:
70m-95m-120m-145m-170m...

or other ones
60m-90m-120m-150m-180m-210m-240m-270m-300m

I'd be fine with adding the WW-style "X.5" sized slips & docks (the 70m-95m-120m-145m-170m... sizes).  Since we're all used to the current sizes, changing to a different size strikes me as unnecessary.

I could see value in intermediate sizes.  But rather than the number/decimal thing, maybe we just assign them letters instead?

70 m = Type A
95 m = Type B
120 m = Type C, etc.

That would work just as well, yes.
