Out of sheer curiosity as the Ottoman caretaker, are either the English or the Russians (or maybe the Italians or anyone else with interests in the region) playing "games" in Persia?  Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc?

Heh, just so everyone knows, the US is NOT playing games in that part of the world.  :)

The newest Japanese battleship design has room for a playroom for the officers, you are never too old to play games ;)

Walter

I think Iberia should send a couple of bulls to Japan to make matters in those Japanese playrooms truly exciting. ;D

Ah Italia the Home of Machiavelli so in all honesty do you realy have to ask ^.^
"He either fears his fate too much,
Or his desserts are small,
Who dares not put it to the touch,
To win or lose it all!"

1612 to 1650
Royalist General during the English Civil War

I'd expect Italy to be playing a little closer (like Arabia, Palestine, etc) than off towards Persia, Pakistan, etc, myself, but that's me....

Well, Italian pirates are certainly a possibility, or Montenegrin pirates subsidized by Italy......

Doesn't matter. All pirates encountered by German warships will be hung - unless they speak fluent German. Maybe.

The Italians are definitely plotting something - just not what you think or where you think.
